Sophia's Valentines Party

We decided to have a Valentine's Party/play date with some of Sophia's friends. The kids enjoyed all the homemade goodies Soph and I made and making Valentine's for their loved ones. Here are a few pictues from the party:)

Getting 12 kids for a group photo was impossible so this is as close as we got:)

I made all of the goodies for the party. My favorite was the Red Velvet "conversation" hearts! YUMMY:)

So it's been a while...

WOW, I have really slacked off on blogging our adventures! Since my last post, almost 7 months ago, a lot has gone on. We have ventured to Marco Island, FL twice (August and December), traveled to Kentucky a handful of times, spent a few days at Grandma Gene's cottage in Wisconsin and best of all, Sophia turned 1!!!! Her birthday party was so much fun planning! We had about 50 of our closest family and friends, not to mention 13 of Sophia's friends. We hired her music teacher to entertain the kids...which was a hit! Thanksgiving was spent in Kentucky and we started our new Knautz tradition of spending Christmas in Marco Island. It was different spending Christmas on the beach with palm trees lit up all around, but nice for a change. Sophia loved walking the beach and strolling for sea shells.

Sophia is learning lots of new things....like climbing on anything she can and learning to wrap her daddy around her finger a little tighter each day:) She brings so much joy to our lives and we are so blessed to have her! We keep busy while Luke is at work with playdates, going to Stroller Strides (so I can get some exercise), music class and Tot Spot. She gets to spend Thursday's with her Grandma so I can attend a women's Bible study at church and have some me time! She will start gymnastics in April and little kickers this Summer. I think I am more excited about the little soccer uniform she will get than the actual sport!

OK, so my goal this year is to blog more to keep eveyone up to speed with the craziness going on in our life! We hope everyone is doing well and having a blessed 2011!
